The beginning of our breeding program
The first British Shorthair cat we took was Bartholomeus. He is very sweet, friendly, social, and has a beautiful thick blue coat. We never thought we would start a cattery, but our interest in the breed and having our own breeding program in general grew when we saw that our friends were also starting catteries during the corona time. We started looking at the varieties of British Shorthair coats and specialties, which increased our interest. Shortly after, we got our rare 'cinnamon' colored Cleopatra from England. We fell in love with her immediately. She is our little diva and also very affectionate and social.
We got our first litter of kittens with Cleopatra and Bartholomeus was the proud father of the 5 kittens she brought into the world. We decided to keep two of Cleopatra's first kittens, the black-colored twins Amandine & Amandio, so we could use them for further breeding and cat shows since they have a very special type of coat and we find them very unique with their black fur and bright copper-colored eyes.
We really enjoy the company of our cats in our environment and they are all treated with a lot of love. Our children never know when to keep their hands off them, which makes them all very social and friendly cats. Our cats
All our cats are unique and very loved by us. The cats and kittens live and grow up in maximum comfort and receive a lot of love. We live in a house with access to a large backyard, where we have arranged for our cats to sit in the green surroundings on warm days. We pay a lot of attention to the health and growth of our cats. All our cats receive professional and high-quality food, get vaccinations, and undergo an annual check-up by a professional veterinarian.
